From Surviving to Thriving: Navigiating Non-Monogamy for Survivors

Description

In this hour workshop, we dive into how survivorship might appear in non-monogamy, go through possible regulation suggestions, and unpack myths around survivorship within non-monogamy. This workshop is geared primarily towards victims/survivors of sexual violence or and intimate partner violence. You don't have to be non-monogamous to take part in this workshop, but it's recommended for non-monogamous survivors of relationship-based violences.

Host Bio

Sydney Rae Chin (they/them) is a chef, non-monogamous educator, and OF content creator. After graduating from Emerson College, Sydney dabbled in marketing. In 2020 amidst the pandemic, they found their passion for sex education, deconstructing media, and storytelling. Their work has been highlighted in collaborations with HER and Open discussing their non-monogamy journey through a survivor lens. Sydney is a proud third generation Chinese-American femme relearning their roots in food history and culture while combining unapologetic sensuality. Currently, they work part-time at the People's Kitchen Philly.
