In this session, award-winning Clinical Sexologist & BDSM Educator, Sunny Megatron, outlines frameworks for custom-building kinky experiences that fit your specific needs & desires. She’ll also help you bypass the B.S. by debunking myths, “One Twue Wayisms,” and misleading stereotypes common within kink communities.

You’ll get an overview of BDSM elements (Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission, Sadomasochism) plus tips for playing with intention and in ways that are identity-affirming & empowering. You’ll explore practical strategies for consent & ethics, healthy communication, identifying interests & limits, creative scene building, partner negotiation, cultivating playfulness, safety, navigating community, finding trustworthy educational resources, and more.

This isn’t your typical BDSM 101. While this class will newcomers a solid introduction to kink basics, it’s also chock-full of valuable tools, strategies, and insights for people of all experience levels.

NOTE: While there will be opportunities to participate in exercises & ask questions, it's completely optional! Whether you choose to have your camera on, prefer to join with just your voice, engage in the text chat, or remain completely incognito is entirely up to you. Sunny’s goal is to create a comfortable, inclusive environment that accommodates various learning styles & allows you to participate according to your comfort level. Sunny Megatron is an award-winning Clinical Sexologist, BDSM & Certified Sexuality Educator, and media personality. She’s the host & executive producer of the Showtime original series, Sex with Sunny Megatron, co-hosts AASECT Award-winning American Sex Podcast and Open Deeply Podcast, and was 2021's XBIZ Sexpert of the Year. Currently, she’s the Editor-in-Chief of kink-focused Zipper Magazine.
