Naked Sound Bath

Join us for our recurring Naked Sound Bath event, presented by Decent Exposure. Dawn and Charles provide a tribal experience using sound and vibrations through various instruments. Charles’ hypnotic drum beats augment the melodic sensations of Dawn’s Rav drum, Himalayan singing bowls, and gong creating a cacophony of relaxation. Your body will thank you later.

All Decent Exposure events are female, trans, and BIPOC inclusive. We work hard to create and hold spaces for the safe exploration of vulnerability by all members of this diverse community. ➤ Directions: Take the B/D/F/M or N/R/Q to 34th St. / Herald Square (1 minute walk), or take the train to Penn Station (5 minute walk). There is no doorman. Take the elevator to the 14th floor and turn left. The studio space is down the hall, just past the bathrooms.

➤ COVID Safety Requirements: Proof of Full Vaccination PLUS Photo ID (Driver License, etc) must be presented at the door for entry. No Exceptions. Do not purchase a ticket if you do not have appropriate vaccination proof. Acceptable form of proof of vaccination – original vaccination card, photo of original vaccination card, state app.

In accordance with NYC guidelines for the recently escalated COVID status, and to ensure the safety & protection of all those attending, we are now requiring masks be worn for this event. We'll also continue to check proof of vaccination. Kindly bring a mask to the event to wear at all times in the event space.

2:20pm – 3:30pm – Meditation & Sound Experience

3:30pm – 3:50pm – Open sharing & Closing Meditation

3:50pm – 4pm – Clean Up & Exit

Please arrive no later than 2:00 pm. We are creating a comfortable, clothing-free space together (female participants may optionally choose to wear bottoms according to their comfort). We need for you to commit to being on time, as well as maintain a safe space by verifying vaccine proof. If you do not arrive before 2:20pm, when the doors close, you will not be permitted into the event. No refunds for no show, arriving after doors close, or inadequate vaccination proof, though an event credit for future Naked Sound Bath Experience by Dawn & Charles will be issued upon request.

Event Organizers - Caitlin Stilin-Rooney & Alex Romanovich

Dawn’s mission is to bring self-awareness and relaxation to people globally, one person at a time. She loves the naked life and yearns for a day when more people embrace that existence. Dawn started her naked journey first by practicing yoga and then teaching at Naked in Motion. Teaching expanded to various clothed studios in suburbia and clothing optional, Rock Lodge. She is trauma aware, chair yoga certified, and teaches Mindfulness on a corporate level. As a musician, her attraction to the Himalayan singing bowls was instant and led to becoming a 3rd level sound practitioner. Charles is an accomplished drummer/percussionist with 20+ years of experience who has played in a variety of original and cover bands in the NY Tri-State area across a multitude of genres; Jam Band, Punk, Pop, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, and Experimental. He has an uncanny ability to jam with almost anyone and naturally create many moods for his audience to experience. Charles holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, and maintains a daily practice of Ipsalu Tantra Level 1 & Level 2 Cobra Breath yoga/meditation.

Dawn and Charles started their own style of sound bath experience at Rock Lodge (Naturalist/Naked Community) playing for weekly outdoor Naked Yoga Class, and that has grown to monthly naked sound bath experiences prior to the global pandemic, which include a multitude of instruments (Gong, Tingsha, shakers) and drums (Buffalo, Dumbek, Djembe, Bongo, Conga). Both Charles and Dawn play the Rav drum. They are constantly reinventing themselves and together combine improvisational sounds as they both share instruments and move about the room creating a unique surround-sound bath experience.
