Are you interested in rope bondage but not sure where to begin? This class is aimed at total beginners, but those looking to refine their fundamental skills are welcome too!
We will move through some foundational techniques with the aim of giving attendees skills to create structured ties, full body sensation and rope flow.
You can attend as a self-tyer or with a partner! Blue will demonstrate the exercises as self-ties with optional cues for those tying partners. The class will be hands-on with plenty of time for questions.
What to bring:
Check out the FAQ here regarding rope choices. If you are just getting started, you can pick up some rope at your local hardware store (aim for the softest, and closest to 6mm).
Blue has been teaching and performing rope bondage since 2012. She opened VoxBody Studio in 2017, the Bay Area’s first rope-dedicated venue, maintained a virtual presence from 2020 to 2022, and joyfully re-opened the studio in February of this year.
Blue is part of an active rope community in the Bay Area, teaching classes and hosting events regularly and performing at events such as Folsom Street Fair, Twisted Windows and Vau de Vire Society productions. She has also presented at RopeCraft, Bondage Expo Dallas, Desert Bound and Karada House’s QueerRope event.
Blue is an enthusiastic sWitch, believes bondage education should address both sides of the rope, and is so proud of the Vox-community. Find her on IG @miss_true_blue and FL true_blue.
Tickets for this class are now available for sale on the Boundless website.
