PRESENTER:

Dark Garden:

Autumn, Dark Garden's founder, initially began selling her historically-inspired designs to friends and colleagues in 1989. In 1993, Autumn realized her true calling and began focusing on corsetry, working with clients ranging from modern brides to San Francisco’s famous court of queers. Options were slim at that time and Autumn knew that if she wanted comfortable and high-quality corsetry, she would have to make it herself!

Dark Garden has had several landmark moments since 1989! After a few moves, we settled into our current location on Linden Street in 1997. In 2001, the standard fit collection launched, and it remains the only corset line based on a true average of modern bodies.

Dita Von Teese commissioned her first Dark Garden corset in 1996, and it was in a Dark Garden corset that she graced the cover of Playboy in 2002, 2015 and 2016 saw a cross-continental cameo collaboration with the famed Mister Pearl.

Supporting uncommon beauty is our goal. That means appreciating the beauty in every single client we meet, and working with you to cultivate a style that embraces your best self. Every size, every gender, every shape, every aesthetic is welcome in our boutique. What we don’t have in stock, we can make. We pride ourselves on the high degree of customization of fit and style we offer in our Made-to-Order corsets, and our Bespoke corsetry and Couture ensembles provide the utmost in custom fit and design.

Carynn:

Seasoned from nearly a decade of working events with Dark Garden, Carynn officially joined the in-house team in 2017. She has managed the flagship boutique since the summer of that year. Carynn explored the kink scene for many years in her home town before moving to San Francisco to join Dark Garden and has been an advocating for and dressing the community ever since.

Shelby:

Shelby has been a designer and sewing artist for 20 years. Through her time at Dark Garden, world renowned corsetier and sewing house, she has been able to combine her love of sewing with her love of kink through corsetry. With so much misinformation available about the safety of corsetry Shelby aims to lift the veil on how to have fun while you safely cinch to your maximum pleasure. With her bratty kink presence, love of flamboyant fetish wear, and colorful personality Shelby brings a unique and informative perspective on the joys of corsets for kink and fetish wear.

https://forbiddentickets.com/events/wicked-grounds/cd7a69268c

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it. :)

So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.

If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.
